i reminisce about

Morrendo de Amor / Dying of Love is my new painting that plays with the idea that Latin people love and suffer so much that one can easily die. Fluorescent pink, silver on black acrylic paint.
I’ve always loved Aston Martin cars. All models, really. Last year I had the opportunity to work with a Swiss-German art organization that commissioned artists to create a piece of artwork that would reflect their favourite brand. Aston Martin was on that list but last minute, don’t ask me what happen, they decided not to be involved anymore. I couldn’t find any other brand that I appreciated as much so I’ve also pulled back. Nevermind, at least it was a great experience to re-draw my favourite cars. Please contact me if you want a copy of this poster.
I painted this pattern to cover a book jacket that I didn’t like.
I love train journeys. Specially when going to the Lake District. I tried to quickly register the beauty of the landscape.

Pirenópolis is a small and rural town located in the state of Goiás (centre-west of Brazil). It’s beautiful, colourful and famous for its colonial architecture, waterfalls, agriculture, small industries and arts and crafts. This acrylic painting was made from one of the pictures I took last year, I tried to be as realistic as possible. I love the bright colours, textures, richness of the small details and characteristics of this town. Everything is so imperfect and perfect at the same time.
But is a large acrylic painting and digital collage that features all excuses grown ups give for not doing something.
Vivo x lei (vivo per lei) in Italian translates “I live for her”. It also means, in formal situations of authority and respect, “I live for you”. I like the idea of saying “I live for you” in a very romantic and formal way, that perhaps 200 years ago would have been normal between couples. It’s also the title of an Andrea Bocelli’s song. This oil painting measures around 1m x 80cm each canvas.

“You’re a wild horse!” – I heard this few months ago and I quite like it. The person who told me was referring to my design and illustration work.
