Vivo x lei (vivo per lei) in Italian translates “I live for her”. It also means, in formal situations of authority and respect, “I live for you”. I like the idea of saying “I live for you” in a very romantic and formal way, that perhaps 200 years ago would have been normal between couples. It’s also the title of an Andrea Bocelli’s song.
